SiW - Scientists in the World is an international nonprofit NGO for Development, founded on the 4th of September 2007. SiW's overarching purpose is to promote science and technology within the framework of international cooperation and development.

Arthur Eddington and his experiences on Principe Island

In 2009, SiW will promote a series of events to mark the 90th anniversary of Eddington's time on the island, which yielded the first experimental proof of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.
